At its heart, the AI Gardening Assistant is an innovative chatbot service powered by the OpenAI GPT-2 beta (and later GPT-3) model, meticulously fine-tuned with extensive horticultural knowledge. This digital assistant is designed to offer users immediate, expert advice on a wide range of gardening questions and concerns, from selecting the right plants for their geographical area to solving common plant care issues.
Built on AWS
Understanding the diverse needs of our users, we integrated this AI assistant with AWS technologies, including Cognito for secure user authentication, API Gateway for reliable service connectivity, and AWS SES and Connect for seamless communication through users' cell phone numbers. This integration ensures a personalized and interactive experience, allowing users to receive gardening advice as if they were texting a friend or a personal gardener.
